Each week, two or more chaplain co-hosts will discuss two episodes of "ER" and talk about what they would have done as chaplains to help the characters on the show. Meet the hosts!
We are all women who are or have been hospital chaplains. We crossed paths in seminary, or during CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education - chaplain training), or at church, or through mutual friends. All of us share a love of pop culture, a (sometimes dark) sense of humor, and a willingness to talk about things that make other people uncomfortable (all part of the job).
And at one time or another, many of us have texted each other while watching a TV show set in a hospital, asking, "WHY don't they have a chaplain with these people?!" So we finally decided to be the TV chaplains we wanted to see in the world.
